Florent says that 2009 was a vintage of the sun, but not one in which anything got burnt and he is very happy with his wines. This has a beautiful transclucence in the glass, notes of violet and coal on the nose, alongside crunchy, bramble fruit with a salty freshness. This shows the quality of which Crozes is capable.
