Very subdued at this stage but, with aeration, come notes of cassis, violet and dried meat. The palate is deeply viscous, with lots of tannin at this stage; very pure, precise and mineral with real freshness behind all the weight. From three distinct parcels, this is wonderful Hermitage in a great vintage.
