This Hermitage is made from the fruit of mature vines from excellent vineyards sites such as Méal, Les Bessards and Dionnères. Powerful in structure in this acclaimed vintage, but with a restrained nature that provides an elegant touch. Red and black fruit is to the fore, but there is a gently earthy complexity and appealing, supple tannins. Attractive Hermitage that will reward medium-term cellarage.
