One of the most consistent tradition cuvées year on year. Generous open characters of hedgerow fruit, with some gentle savoury notes. There is an appealing freshness to the dark cherry fruit, with notes of garrigue, pepper and spice. There is a smoky complexity inherent in the wines of Versino, which is allied to a vibrant core of fruit. Very finely expressed, with fine-grained tannins well-veiled by fruit. Another superb vintage for this Domaine.
