The jewel in the Château Fuissé crown has long been regarded as one of the most profound and exemplary wines of the region. A skilfully crafted cuvée that is produced from grapes sourced from twelve plots located in four villages. In 2005 the overall yields in these plots averaged a miserly 15 hectolitres per hectare which, in layman's terms, places the volume at an extremely low level indeed. This is a barn-storming wine that is brimming with luscious fruit. Peach, apricot and pineapple are to be found with breadth given by whispers of toasty oak. Five star pouilly-fuissé.
