2012 Chablis 1er Cru Mont de Milieu, Domaine Pinson
The Mont de Milieu is the largest holding within the Domain and probably the biggest wine of the 1er Crus in terms of style. Within the confines of the family’s delicate use of oak, a small percentage of the must is vinified in barrel, giving the wine its signature richness and ageability. Plenty of open, ripe fruit on the nose with a good balance of citrus, minerals and a subtle oily texture that gives away its origin.
