This is a bit of a unicorn. Catharina thought she had landed on a long-term contract when she purchased these grapes in 2024, only to find her hopes dashed the following vintage. She dislikes doing one-offs, but she had no choice in the matter here. So, my advice is, snap it up: this is your only chance. It is staggeringly elegant, with the energy and length you would expect from this excellent premier cru.

A one shot. A spicy reduction on top of cooked lemon skins. Stony notes on the palate, a saline style. This has depth and balance, but is still waiting to find its direction. Drink from 2028-2032. Tasted Oct 2025.
