2024 Puligny-Montrachet, Les Noyers Brets, Jean-Marc Pillot

2024 Puligny-Montrachet, Les Noyers Brets, Jean-Marc Pillot

This excellent vineyard is on the lower slopes of Puligny, just above Les Enseignères, and directly below the grands crus. It’s classically Puligny on the nose, mineral and restrained, while the palate is peachy and elegant. It shows an intricate balance between density of fruit and juicy acidity.

Tasting notes

Mid lemon yellow, with considerable weight on the palate. Fuller than a typical Puligny because of the soil. Kicks on very nicely with good acidity and a little tangerine quality to the fruit. Fresh thanks to the water supply rather than limestone. Drink from 2028-2031. Tasted Oct 2025.
