This hails from the cool climes in the hills above the Ladoix-Serrigny in the Côte de Beaune. It is fragrant, peachy and smooth, with nice roundness and a silky texture on the palate. Drinking very well from a young age but has the structure to withstand quite a few more years of ageing.
From Magny-les-Villers, the last fruit to be picked. Mid lemon yellow. Ripe aromatics, yellow fruit, lightly buttered, 20% new wood. Lots of energy, good weight, lighter in acidity for an Hautes Côtes wine but there is certainly enough, and the length is exemplary. Drink from 2026-2028. Tasted Dec 2024.
