2022 Puligny-Montrachet, Les Noyers Brets, Jean-Marc Pillot

2022 Puligny-Montrachet, Les Noyers Brets, Jean-Marc Pillot

This excellent vineyard is on the lower slopes of Puligny, just above Les Enseignères, and directly below the grands crus. It’s classically Puligny on the nose, mineral and restrained, while the palate is peachy and elegant. It is a highlight in 2022, showing an intricate balance between density of fruit and juicy acidity.

Tasting notes

Lemon and lime colour, lightly sulphured nose, but some floral tones as well. Elegant and detailed on the palate, good acidity, a lively fresh feel throughout. Excellent aftertaste. A clean, refined and promising Puligny. Very good tension at the finish Drink from 2025-2030. Tasted: October 2023.
