2022 Meursault 1er Cru Les Genevrières, Michel Bouzereau

2022 Meursault 1er Cru Les Genevrières, Michel Bouzereau

This is one of Meursault’s finest vineyards, shared amongst some of its greatest growers. It’s a clear step up in the Bouzereau line-up: textural, precise and enduring. Complexity abounds.

Tasting notes

Pale colour with a light green tint. This is more detailed but less intense on the nose, characteristics which continue on the palate. Delightful nuances, a good thread of ripe acidity, some ripe lemon notes towards the back of the palate. A wine that needs more reflection than the Charmes, but delivers. Only the style, not the quality separates them. Very long finish. Drink from 2028-2037. Tasted: October 2023.
