This comes from two parcels, with equal parts of Languettes and Le Charlemagne. This has beautiful fruit, with greengages and plenty of mineral notes. Quite peachy on the finish, and very saline, this is a brilliant Corton-Charlemagne.

Scents of ripe pear, green apple, orange oil and nutmeg introduce Ponsot's 2018 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, a full-bodied, satiny but incisive wine that's lively and concentrated, with a fleshy core of ripe fruit girdled by tangy acids. This is very promising.
