Perhaps best known in the hands of Drouhin, Chanson also make a standout Clos des Mouches. The 2017 is coiled and energetic. Notes of oyster shell and sea spray, very tight and savoury. But there’s excellent length to the finish. Well made. Just a hint of lemon sherbet on finish.
