2016 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos St Jean, Domaine Paul Pillot
From the vineyard just up the road from the winery, often better celebrated for its red wines, this white is stunning again this year. There’s concentrated lemon oil and floral notes, and a long, saline finish. Great precision.
