2015 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot, Domaine Bernard Moreau et Fils
Morgeot always produces a richer, riper wine, due to the higher proportion of clay in the soil, and the flavours on this show the added warmth, with more stone fruit than some of the other premiers crus. But excellent lacy acidity ensures the palate remains balanced and fresh.
