2015 Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru Île des Vergelesses Blanc, Chandon de Briailles
Almost certainly the finest vineyard in Pernand, the size of Claude’s holdings here means she can also make a white wine - and it’s a good job she can. This is round and ripe but not overblown with notes of pineapple and white flowers. The finish is mineral and very fresh.
