A Lay & Wheeler favourite, sadly this is the last vintage of the old vines here: the day after 2016s frost Jean-Baptiste pulled out the vines. It was the first to be harvested, on the 28th August, and this has preserved excellent acidity alongside ripeness of fruit. It’s textured and very long.
