2014 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Champ Canet, Olivier Leflaive Frères

Smoky, reductive notes on the nose balanced by hints of white peach and flowers. In the mouth there is power and breadth with citrus grip and an explosion of minerality. Vibrant, mouth-watering and extremely long; this is a fine example in a great vintage.

2014 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Champ Canet, Olivier Leflaive Frères
Olivier Leflaive

One of Burgundy’s most recognisable names, Olivier Leflaive produces some of the Côte de Beaune’s finest whites from a mixture of domaine-owned vineyards and bought-in grapes. Olivier founded the company in 1984, and it has grown in quality and prestige ever since. With 17 hectares of their own vineyards in some of the region’s most prized plots, and using only the very best sources from their bought grapes and must, the wines being produced are now up there with the region’s very best.
