The first vines were planted at this Grand Cru site in 1930. It is very steep, more so than Bâtard with extra pebbles and sunshine, usually meaning that this is the more fruitful and open of the two Grand Cru sites. Immense power and concentration, unfurling and offering ginger spice and pithy grapefruit leading into a fanfair of a finish.
