The word "Caillerets" alludes to a stony soil, to which the minerality of Fontaine-Gagnard's is testament. The fruit comes from two plots, one at the top and the other at the bottom of the vineyard, so there is a honeyed richness here which perfectly balances that minerality, whilst the finish displays lovely, refreshing citrus fruit.
