On the palate, however, the density and power are outstanding, there is a superb layering of the texture, and, perhaps most surprisingly at such an early stage, it is already supremely harmonious. Once again, the finish slowly but surely builds to a crescendo: we could still taste it when we arrived at the next Domaine!
