Chiselled and aromatic with great energy, wines like this put most village level Puligny to shame. The word Charmois is derived from hill (chaume) rather than charm but this wine has oodles of the latter. With great definition this is our pick of the St Aubin 1ers Crus produced by Franck Grux in 2013; very good value and will repay some time in the bottle.
