2011 Beaune 1er Cru Aigrots Blanc, Domaine de Montille
Subtle on the nose, with notes of white peach, citrus and orchard flowers alongside a hint of oak-derived spice. The palate is taut and toned, very linear, with vibrant acidity. Ripe white stone fruits and lemon combine on the palate, melding with delicate floral notes and a long, savoury mineral note that carries through to the finish. Appealing, restrained white Burgundy.
