2009 Meursault 1er Cru Les Charmes, Olivier Leflaive Frères

Les Charmes is possibly the appellation’s most refined premier cru, much to do with the fact that it adjoins Puligny's Les Referts vineyard. Notes of ripe citrus and buttered toast come through on the nose. On the palate, this has a soft, rounded elegance, with an exuberance of fruit and great depth of character. Complex and appealing, this is a lovely Meursault.
