Rich, though refined, this has has buttery apple fruit to the fore on the nose and a touch of spice. On the palate this is creamy and mouthfilling, yet with a delightful freshness that prevents this becoming cloying or at all fat. There is stony minerality and a smoky note, which add complexity, and this finishes very long and pure.
