2005 Montrachet Grand Cru, Etienne Sauzet
The aromas here reveal terrific intensity and ripeness. The palate is remarkably layered and dense - of serious proportions. Very forthright, yet discreetly mineral, the fruit is ripe tending towards tropical. A mouth-watering, searing note to the acidity is revealed towards the finish. A positive lingering Grand Cru with fine potential.
