2024 Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru, Domaine Faiveley

2024 Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru, Domaine Faiveley

Faiveley are the largest landowner in this fêted corner of Chambertin, with three parcels to their name. It is one of the consistently most complex wines in their range, and offers staggering ageing potential. You’ll find aromas of rose petal and cranberries, leading to gorgeously silky tannins, and a fresh line of acidity driving through to a spicy finish.

Tasting notes

The 2024 Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze Grand Cru is a step up over the Charmes-Chambertin with greater depth and complexity, though it is still relatively open-knit compared to other vintages. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, a mixture of red and black fruit, very smooth with a plush and quite sensual finish. Lovely.
