In 2024 Sébastien blended his two Nuits premiers crus, Theory and Murgers to create one unique cuvée. It shows the cool structure of Thorey and the sumptuous elegance of Murgers.
The 2024 Nuits Saint-Georges 1er Cru is a blend of what survived in Aux Thorey and Murgers, totalling seven barrels. This has a pure and comely bouquet with perfumed red cherries and crushed strawberry, just a hint of orange blossom in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with filigree tannins. A sense of symmetry here with an understated but focused and persistent finish. A fine marriage!
