Uniquely in 2024, the family combined their two premiers crus vineyards (Chaignots and Vignerondes) with their village parcel to make one wine, so drastically small was the crop in Nuits. The result is a massive success in terms of quality: slightly broader shouldered than the Vosne, with a deep and reverberating finish.

The 2024 Nuits Saint-Georges Cuvée Les Trois Climats has a pretty nose with cranberry and raspberry fruit, subtle violet scents tucked in behind, enhanced by the focus and delineation. The palate is well balanced with fine-grain tannins. I admire the vigour and pepperiness in this cuvée as if there were a few stems in the mix. Touches of clove and allspice furnish that finish of a very competent Nuits Saint-Georges, hopefully a one-off cuvée.
