The 2024 Chambolle-Musigny Les Feusselottes 1er Cru is a cuvée that survived the onslaught of the vintage. It has a more sensual bouquet with cranberry, wild strawberry, hints of sous-bois and just a light orange rind scent in the background. Fine delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with grainier tannin than the Nuits Saint-Georges, quite peppery in the second half, gentle grip, open and transparent. It just fades in terms of the aftertaste, perhaps the most austere of the cuvées at the moment.
