Cellar Circle Exclusive

65% of the fruit comes from Rouges du Bas, the rest from the Quartier de Nuits section of the Echézeaux grand cru. It is one of the truly great cuvées from this cellar: elegant and balanced.

Tasting notes

The 2024 Echézeaux Grand Cru is a blend of Quartiers de Nuits and Rouges du Bas, matured in one-third new oak. Again, this has a light but well-defined bouquet with pure red fruit, crushed stone and subtle undergrowth scents that gain momentum with aeration. Just a hint of iris flower with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with quite firm tannins. This has a subtle ferrous element, quite sharp and fresh towards its sapid finish with a sustained finish that is commendable in the context of the growing season.
