This is wonderfully approachable: crunchy red fruit, an aromatic top note, and a deeper more concentrated line flowing through its body, giving it great interest. Its ample body and smooth tannins are off-set by its red-fruit freshness.
The 2024 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Pruliers 1er Cru has a mélange of red and black fruit on the nose with hints of blood orange that manifest with time. This is a cuvée not willing to compromise despite the growing season. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chalky tannins, brisk and almost citric for a red, with real sharpness and freshness on the finish. Thoroughly enjoyable, I can imagine this drinking well in its youth.
