2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Cuvée de l'Abeille, Domaine Ponsot

This is just the third vintage for this lovely Gevrey from Alexandre Abel and his team at Domaine Ponsot. It comes from a half hectare parcel in the Les Epoitures lieu-dit, not far from Petite Chapelle. It was replanted in 2014 by Laurent Ponsot before his departure, and is now producing a bright and elegant wine, with a gorgeous red cherry character, and fine lacy tannins.
