This is a spectacularly well placed vineyard that enjoys a commanding view above the village. It is separated by just a small road from Clos de Tart Grand Cru. It is one of the more tannic and structured in the Felettig cellar in 2022. Gilbert mentions it’s always one of the final parcels to be harvested as it ripens a little later. The density is impressive.

The wood gives an extra dimension which will need to integrate but the essential joyous nature of this hillside vineyard shines through. He thinks he has the best balance here since he started the exchange deal to get these grapes in 2015. Drink from 2030-2037. Tasted: December 2023.
