This vineyard lies just below La Tâche towards the centre of the village. It is dark and compact in 2022, with some spicy drive on the finish. The tannins are particularly velvet-like in texture.

Fresh purple with some intensity. A little bit of wood on the nose, and a fruit which suggests that it needs more elevage. Quite strict despite the mix of pure red and tending to black fruit. Medium plus intensity, severe at the moment, I have no problem with that, especially as there is clearly potential. Drink from 2031-2039. Tasted: December 2023.
