Jacques has maintained the longstanding tradition here of fully destemming the fruit for this village cuvée. The domaine’s two parcels (Les Larrets and Rue de Vergy) sit high up on the slope, just above the grands crus on limestone soils. This shows delicious red fruit crunch, in a floral and enticing attitude.

Tasting notes

From En La Rue de Vergy and Larrey. Mid crimson. A somewhat sombre nose albeit with the slightly savoury character of Morey. This cuvée is always entirely destemmed. On the palate the red fruit has a little extra freshness though still with the savoury character. A pure, fine and long finish. Drink from 2028-2034. Tasted: November 2023.
