The 2020 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru is 50% whole bunch with 100% new oak. This displays very good concentration on the nose, the oak neatly integrated into the intense red berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, mineral-rich red fruit with a dense yet delineated finish. This will need time in bottle but it should turn out very fine after several years in bottle. Excellent.
