These vines were planted in 1965 and 1972. Aux Murgers is one of the warmer, and therefore earlier ripening sites in Nuits, and this 2020 is silky and seductive.
The 2020 Nuits Saint-Georges Aux Murgers 1er Cru has a beautifully-defined bouquet with vibrant black cherry and raspberry fruit, rose petal and light sous-bois aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fine acidity, fleshy and focused with good substance on the finish. Very fine.
