2020 Bourgogne Rouge Vigne Blanche, Domaine Tawse

2020 Bourgogne Rouge Vigne Blanche, Domaine Tawse

This parcel actually used to be classified as a village parcel, and winemaker Mark seems particularly fond of it. It is really fresh and vibrant, with a hint of Gevrey’s density and spice. It’s one of the best Bourgogne Rouges you’ll find.

Tasting notes

The 2020 Bourgogne Rouge Vignes Blanches has a fragrant bouquet with black cherries and a subtle liquorice note. The palate is sweet and candied, almost Gamay-like with a pure and easygoing finish. Enjoyable.
