2018 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru La Riotte, Domaine Taupenot-Merme
This plot of just over half a hectare is planted with 60+ year old vines. Complex with notes of baked earth and violets, and tons of lifted dark fruit. This is beautifully balanced, and very long indeed.
