2017 Marsannay, Méo-Camuzet Frère et Sœurs

Marsannay was badly hit by frost last year, but it’s back in 2017. Nice savouriness to this, a fantastic example of how good this village can be. Dark and slightly herbal, with excellent length

2017 Marsannay, Méo-Camuzet Frère et Sœurs
Domaine Méo-Camuzet

The link with Henri Jayer continues to define, if not overshadow, this estate, which makes outstanding wines completely in its own right. Jean-Nicolas Méo took control in 1989, and the wines have rightfully developed a reputation for being polished, opulent and voluptuous, with wonderful intensity to the fruit. With fourteen hectares in some of the most prestigious parts of the Côte de Nuits, Méo-Camuzet also has a thriving negotiant business.
