2017 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Malconsorts, Domaine de Montille
In 2005 Etienne managed to buy 1.37 hectares of the prized Les Malconsorts vineyard in Vosne. 100% whole bunch. Love the density here, with nice volume, that grows in amplitude. It hassilky, suave tannins. This is so beautifully rendered, and so saline on the finish, but with flavours that continue to unfurl for minutes. Effortless elegance with incredible length.
