2017 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru La Riotte, Domaine Taupenot-Merme
This plot of just over half a hectare is planted with 60+ year old vines. There is a floral character, and so much energy and silky tannins behind it. Good balance and drive, and nice density to the flavour.
