A well-situated premier cru, bordering Volnay and Les Rugiens-Bas, one of Pommard’s finest sites. Quite dark: iron oxide and bulls blood. Black cherry fruit, and good energy, very fine and spicy. Lovely tension and juice, with energy. Finessed and long.
