2017 Beaune 1er Cru Les Teurons, Domaine Rossignol-Trapet

Nicolas and David’s vines are at the top of Les Teurons, in the vineyard’s sweet spot between Aux Cras and Les Grèves. . There’s a ripeness here, spicy and fine, touch of clove and really nice elegance and purity. There’s real balance here, it’s soft and silky and long. Nice density, fine and well judged. Very open. This is outstanding.

Domaine Rossignol-Trapet

After converting the domaine to become biodynamic in 2004, Nicolas and David are champions of minimal intervention, from vineyard to winery. The estate, founded in the marriage of the Rossignols of Volnay and the Trapets of Gevrey, has been run by both brothers since 1990. Their wines are elegant, refined, and pure, reflective of their desirable terroir.
