One of Gevrey’s premiers crus that’s a grand cru in all but name, Pierre made only roughly half of a typical yield in 2016. There’s so much minerality, and the fruit is so fresh it could be snow-capped. Transparent and crystalline, but with such elegance and depth. Perfect balance.
