2016 Marsannay, Méo-Camuzet Frère et Sœurs

Marsannay was badly hit by frost, but this doesn’t seem to have suffered. There’s nice bright fruit and floral notes, clean and very silky on the palate. It’s pure and surprisingly long - great value. Strictly limited to 6 bottles per customer.

2016 Marsannay, Méo-Camuzet Frère et Sœurs
Domaine Méo-Camuzet

The link with Henri Jayer continues to define, if not overshadow, this estate, which makes outstanding wines completely in its own right. Jean-Nicolas Méo took control in 1989, and the wines have rightfully developed a reputation for being polished, opulent and voluptuous, with wonderful intensity to the fruit. With fourteen hectares in some of the most prestigious parts of the Côte de Nuits, Méo-Camuzet also has a thriving negotiant business.
