The subtle delicacy of Latricières is very much on display here, with a haunting perfume of violets and lavender, and so much going on with the palate. It’s so direct and fresh, with juicy red cherries, dark chocolate, coffee bean and crushed rocks. Remarkably light on its feet but, like Mohammed Ali, it floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee.
