Pound for pound this is easily my favourite wine in the cellar. On the Vosne side of the village, this is a sultry and generous Nuits with bramble fruit, notes of iron and the fragrancy and lift of Vosne. Compact and ripe, there is a juiciness and life here, from this wine from very old vines right in the very best part of this top vineyard.
