2014 Echézeaux Grand Cru, Domaine du Clos Frantin

2014 Echézeaux Grand Cru, Domaine du Clos Frantin

There is no doubting that this is a Grand Cru on account of the large-scaled stature of this wine. It is deeply concentrated and dense, yet also very pure and lacy in style with a lighter brush of tannin than might be expected. This is no bad thing, since it lends a supple and giving aspect to the wine, allowing the purity to shine through.
